Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:

Oversee and manager the day to day operations of the banquet food.  Ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency within the kitchen.


  • Coordinate, plan and supervise the production, plating and presentation of the food at all banquet events in a cost effective, safe manner to meet/exceed customer expectations and attract future business.
  • Responsible for the daily production of all banquet food.
  • Assists in the creation and recommends menu changes.
  • Recommends and implements procedural/production changes.
  • Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
  • Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, customers, client, and associates.
  • Mandatory adherence to the Platinum Service process on a daily basis.To include Platinum Service Standards, Great Elements of Customer Service, and the “To BE” Philosophy.


In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Log all absenteeism and employee lateness
  • Oversee key inventory
  • Monitor special requests for guests
  • Inspect back of the house areas
  • All other reasonable requests as required
