ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist the Director of Banquets and Banquet Managers with the daily operation of all banquets and catering events on and off property, coordinating with other departments as required supervising Guest satisfaction. Assist with the day-to-day operation of the banquet department by ensuring staffing, service and financial standards are met. Prepare any relevant reports or documentation as needed.
Ensure the day-to-day operation of the banquet department meets PLATINUM SERVICE standards at all times by working alongside colleagues on a regular basis.
Review all BEOs to ensure the proper information for execution of events, in specific: equipment needs, staffing needs, set-up and breakdown needs, start times, pricing accuracy, guarantees, and locations.
Ensure the daily communication of the BEO change log.
Manage the communication needs between the Conference Sales, Catering Sales, A/V, Culinary.
Coordinate and run daily pre and post event staff meetings, including the delegation of tasks and team assignments.
Oversee and direct the set-up of breakfast and lunch buffets and the equipment needs for proper service of each event that he or she is assigned to.
Plan, develop and implement the staffing and service standards.

Conduct scheduled function room inspections, using a checklist in accordance with departmental standards.
